We are looking to add an Operations Assistant to our team!

About the role:

We are looking to hire a new Operations Assistant! This role is 1 shift per week of 6 hours (Saturdays, 12:30pm-6:30pm) and pays $17/hour. This job will require great customer service skills, using an iPad, standing and sitting, lifting up to 30lbs, using eco-friendly cleaning products, and love of community.

Some specific duties include: 

• Greeting visitors and sharing information about FLTL; answering questions and helping members over the phone

• Adding new members and renewing existing memberships in our database

• Processing cash, check, or payment card donations

• Using an iPad to process toy loans and toy returns

• Cleaning and shelving toys that have been returned

• Toy Donation Intake: photographing, cataloging, labeling, and stocking new toys

• Cleaning: light vacuuming, taking out the trash, dusting shelves, keeping storage organized

• Organizing toys: return things to correct sections and ensure all parts are included

About you:

Do you love libraries, board games, toys, and meeting members of the community? If so, this might be the position for you! An understanding of customer service, education/childcare, and operations is a plus but not required. We are looking to fill this role quickly. Applications will be accepted until May 8th.
